Stay

There are lots of nearby options for where to stay, including camping at the venue itself for anyone that wants it.

Overnight parking at the venue is also freely available, though for more information on transport please see how to get there.

Camping

The Tournerbury woodland contains a beautiful, private campsite, overlooking a small pond and in eyesight of the main venue. Our hope is that as many people as possible will make use of this facility, though we fully understand that camping isn't for everyone.

There are various spaces that can take campervans or (small) caravans, and plenty more for tents. Anyone who wants to bring and pitch their own tent is extremely welcome to do so, at no additional cost.

Alternatively, for those that like the idea of camping but don't want the hassle, we are organising pre-pitched "glamping" bell tents.

The campsite will be lit by wildlife-friendly light strings once the sun sets, until late on the Sunday night/Monday morning, but we would recommend bringing a torch. Rented bell tents will have internal lights and lanterns provided as standard.

Toilets and sinks will be available near to the campsite throughout the weekend, though please note that there are no showering facilities.

Bell Tent Village

The pre-pitched bell tents can be single occupancy or shared (up to 6), and come with comfortable, durable air beds, duvets, pillows, and other creature comforts. The air beds are either single or double mattress sized, and we'll confirm what configuration you'd like prior to the wedding.

The exact pricing depends on how many people are sharing a tent, but will fall between £50-80 per person. If you'd like to share a tent but can't find others that feel the same, you can let us know on the RSVP form and we'll help match people together. Alternatively, if you already have a group sorted, there's space on the RSVP to let us know exactly who you want to share with. For families, kids are largely free. A two-person tent can sleep one kid at no additional cost; if you need a larger tent, you'll be charged for four adults at the cheapest rate (£200 total) and can have as many kids as you need.

Bell tents will be fully setup by the time you arrive on the Sunday, and will be yours to use until around 2pm on the Monday afternoon, so should make an ideal base for the wedding.

Pitch Your Own

It couldn't be easier: just let us know on the RSVP that you want to bring your own tent, give us a rough idea of what size of pitch you would like, and we'll make sure to reserve some space for you.

There will be time set aside – both before the main ceremony and during the afternoon – for people to pitch tents and generally get settled in.

Self-pitching tents are completely free for all guests, and there should be plenty of space for anyone who wants to give it a go! Just remember to bring all of the bedding, equipment, and comforts that you might need.

Campervans & Caravans

The venue is very happy to allow small campervans and caravans onto the site, and most areas of the campsite are accessible by road, including a large flat clearing just beyond the main guest parking.

Unfortunately, there are no power or water hookups, nor is there waste disposal, so you will need to be self-sufficient.

As with self-pitched camping, there is no additional cost for bringing your mobile home with you, but spaces are a little more limited. Whilst we don't anticipate running out of vehicle spots, if you are considering this option we'd recommend letting us know ASAP.

Hotels & B&Bs

Hayling Island is a popular tourist destination, and so there are many nearby options for private accommodation. Several hotels are listed below, but there are also plenty of AirBnBs, hostels, and campsites on the island.

Please Note: As the wedding is taking place in the summer holidays, we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
